The Indigenous DJ crew is the first to grace the stage of the new music show.
Media personality and radio host George Stroumboulopoulos just announced a new deal with Apple Music to release House of Strombo, a 10-episode concert series recorded live from his downtown Toronto home.
And none other than Indigenous DJ crew A Tribe Called Red were chosen to kick off the brand new series.
Watch ATCR throw down an epic, guest-filled set in Strombo’s living room. If you look closely, you might see renowned musician and producer Daniel Lanois grooving in the front row, incredible Indigenous dancer (and Tribe’s ‘secret weapon’) Angela Miracle Gladue aka Miss Chief Rocka getting busy on the dancefloor, and some extra special verses from hip-hop artists Leonard Sumner and Shad.
What a way to launch what promises to be an action-packed, intimate and unforgettable series. Now, what Indigenous artist will be the next to rock the spot at House of Strombo?
